I had originally set the destination path to my external HDD (E:\Downloads). UPDATE: I was able to resolve this issue.
NZBGET VS SABNZBD INSTALL
If I do need to start making tweaks and changes to NZBget to get equivalent performance to Sabnzbd, why aren't those settings the install defaults for NZBGet? do I need to disable DisableWrite in NZBGet and increase the article cache to 1024MBs in NZBGet? I didn't want to start experimenting. What settings do I need to change (from their defaults) on NZBGet to get the equivalent download speed of Sabnzbd? I get an average of 15MB/s-20MB/s download speed with NZBGet (roughly half the speed). I get an average of 35MB/s-40MB/s download speed with Sabnzbd (which is close to the maximum download throughput of my ISP). Provider settings are identical to Sabnzbd with 40 simultaneous connections, SSL enabled.
NZBGET VS SABNZBD UPDATE
Just a few days ago, I thought I'd give NZBGet a shot since there was a recent update 10 days ago and, I heard that it's theoretically less hardware-intensive than Sabnzbd.Īnyway, NZBGet is cleanly installed (latest version) at all its default settings. Lowering to 512 allowed the download to complete, although corrupt.I've been using Sabnzbd for many years. I'm going to try Force.ĪrticleCache: 512 - this was previously 1024, but that would cause nzbget to quit/crash when downloading these mkv files and I'm not sure why. I changed to Always to see if it made a difference. Some settings info: I previously had ParCheck to Auto. I haven't tried NZBGet on Windows yet (just happened to have sab installed from years ago). I've just check md5 on both and they differ.ġ3486152724 on ls -l on the Pi, and 13,486,152,724 on dir on Windows. I've downloaded the same file on sab on windows 10, and it plays fine.

Currently running version 21.0 on the Pi. That'z NZBGet running on a Raspberry Pi 4. NZBGet log shows it loading the first par2 file, then "Verifying file: xxxxx.mkv" then "Repair not needed for xxxxx.mkv". I've been having this issue, also with a nzb that is just the mkv file. Below I will paste the log of one download and if you need it, I can sned the NZB. Maybe it has something to do with downloads with just 1 file and nog RARs, but I could not verify yet. It doesn't happen with all downloads, but it seems to be getting worse.
NZBGET VS SABNZBD PC
If I download the same NZB on my PC with Sabnzbd, everything is fine. Everything seems OK, no errors, ut the files do not play and appear to be corrupt. Since a long time I'm having problems with NZBGet downloading good files.
